Want to Know How Our Cars are Prepared and What You Get ?

The vehicle search solution is an alternative option to those who cannot see what they would like in the Pontillion Vehicle Sales stock. There are two levels of service available to suit all requirements.

Retail Sales Search

Pontillion will take details of what you are looking for and actively search the market for the best available car. This search will include contact with main dealers, leasing and contract hire contacts and the wealth of other motor trade professionals with whom Pontillion does business.

Under normal circumstances we would expect to find the car of your choice within 7 days and once we have done so we agree a price and ask for a non returnable deposit of £500 before purchasing the car. Having purchased the car it will be entered in to the vehicle preparation process and made ready for collection. - Simple as that !

Auction Search

For those looking to buy a truly cost effective car, Pontillion offer a trade search facility. This is simple and straightforward - we take details of what you are looking for and a non refundable deposit of £200 (deducted from the cost of the car when you complete your purchase) . We then use our search facilities and contacts to find the car of your choice. Once we find it we give you a frank description of the condition of the car and on your instruction we will go ahead and purchase the car.

Once purchased the car is ready for collection. We do not check or prepare the car at all and you buy the car at the auction price + the buyers fee and a 5% broker fee from Pontillion (there is a minimum charge of £400 + VAT for this service).

However, whilst this is a very cost effective purchase route you must be clear that if the vehicle has a problem once we have purchased it for you then you cannot withdraw from the sale nor return the car should a problem arise after the sale. This is a strictly trade arrangement and Pontillion are providing a brokerage service not a retail experience. In most transactions the customer gets what has been described and has no problem - but every now and then there is a rogue car.
